I got lost in worship last night, and lost you guys. Did it go rad for you??
So encouraged huh?
Not to be a groupie or whatever, but i slowly moved right to the front to join my youth guys.. Been tryna take hold of what God's been saying about worshipping up there alongside them. There's such fruit in that on fri nights. Anyways.. i had such a good time with them.. the LEAST inhibited i've been in a long time. God's awesome. Anyways once more... at one point in the song when Joel Houston was putting the mic over the crowd he pulled me to the mic and we sang together. But it was rad, cos he obviously recognised me after chatting at the workshop, and responded with a gesture of encouragement.
Cos earlier i went to him and Marty Sampson after the workshop and mentioned how amped we are here in Durbs as a whole, and we're so excited, passionate and ambitious INSIDE, but we're in this season where, yeah, we're 'pregnant' with all this, but theres something about our culture here in South Africa where, we're just a little too scared. We're not letting it be birthed to all it's glory. So our fears become hyper-reality.. therefore holding us back SOOOOOO much. So, I just asked them both to grow in their hearts this understanding and compassion for us where we are at, and to soon be following up in prayer and even guiding us here and there? So I think they could see the heart-issue just in having that conversation.
God's moving.. you ready?
